 sing an open-source microcontroller specifically designed for music applic
 ations. By the end of the workshop\,  participants will be able to underst
 and how we have created effects\, and have the resources available to them
  to create their own with this platform. \n\nWe will begin by understandin
 g how various effects function and then assemble a custom PCB and enclosur
 e for your pedal.  After assembly and testing participants can tinker\, as
 k questions\, or participate in an improvised jam session. We will provide
  resources for participants who want to create more effects with code for 
 hacking purposes after the workshop.\n\nThere are a limited number of kits
  available.
